Alan Firmin Ltd was founded in 1937, the company’s haulage and distribution business now has more than 180 vehicles and trailers operating from bases in Kent. The substantial 750,000 sq ft commercial property operation ranges from industrial units and warehouses to offices and starter units. In addition, 1,250 acres of farmland are now mostly rented to neighbouring farmers in Kent and there is a residential portfolio of over thirty cottages.

Alan Firmin Ltd is a shareholder member of the Pallet Track distribution network extending the scope and scale of services to customers. Constant investment in vehicles, operator training and transport related technology enables the company to fulfil their promise ‘Trust Firmin to deliver’. In 2017, the company launched ‘Firmin Xpress’ a dedicated express courier division which adds the flexibility to cover orders as small as a single document up to consignments weighing 26ton.
