We have set up a registered charity, the Kreston Reeves Foundation (registered number 1180402), with the Foundation being the focal point for our many charitable, fundraising and CSR activities.
The Foundation is run by our staff members for the firm’s nominated local charities (selected by staff on an annual basis), plus national charities which meet the Foundation’s charitable objectives, when in relation to ad hoc nationwide fundraising days such as Macmillian Coffee Morning, Wear it Pink, Red Nose Day etc.
As part of the Kreston Reeves Foundation, we also support our employees in achieving charitable goals close to their heart, in the form of one day paid leave per year for volunteering.
All funds raised by our charitable and CSR activities will be attributed to the Kreston Reeves Foundation and distributed to the relevant causes.
Sam Rouse, Charities and Not for Profit Partner and Trustee of the Kreston Reeves Foundation said: “Our staff and Partners are strongly committed to ‘making a local impact that counts’ and giving back to our communities where we work and live. This Foundation aims to combine the efforts from across the firm to maximise its impact.”
“Colleagues are finding increasingly creative ways to raise funds for our nominated charities, including a sky dive, fitness days and walking for 27 hours straight. Last year we raised £10,000 for our nominated charities which we are working to even further improve this year.”
The charities that will benefit from the Kreston Reeves Foundation this year are the Pilgrims Hospice (Canterbury and Thanet), Demelza Hospice Care for Children, Turning Tides, Samaritans of Horsham and Crawley, Home Start Chichester & District, The Clock Tower Sanctuary Chestnut Tree House and St Luke’s Community Centre in London.
