Over the last 6 months, our people have worked together to support their local communities by dedicating their time and effort to various meaningful projects.

Whether it involved assisting with park maintenance with Wildwood Trust or joining children with physical and sensory disabilities in making Christmas decorations, our firm has united to make a positive contribution to local communities. This also contributes towards the dedicated volunteering time that all Kreston Reeves employees are entitled to each year.

Here is an overview of our recent volunteering activity:

  • 18 July – Resurgo Spear Programme – carrying out mock interviews with young people who are facing barriers to employment into work or education with the aim of building their confidence.
  • 7 August – Barns Green Primary School and The Weald School – attending Full Governing Body meetings as a co-opted governor for Barns Green Primary School and a parent governor for The Weald School.
  • 8 August – Head in the Game – attending summer event as a trustee of the charity.
  • 26 September – Wildwood Trust – Canterbury Accounts and Outsourcing team assisting with park maintenance.
  • 9 October – RBLI – helping in the fulfilment department and to pack their Tommy products for their remembrance campaign, as well as packing up hampers for Christmas.
  • 14 November – Lavinia Norfolk Centre Charitable Trust – making and decorating Christmas decorations with children with physical and sensory disabilities to sell and raise money at their Christmas Fair at the centre.

Sam Rouse, Partner and Trustee of the Kreston Reeves Foundation comments: “The dedication and enthusiasm that our teams have shown over the past six months has been wonderful. By working with incredible organisations ranging from RBLI to the Marine Conservation Society, we’ve been able to support vital causes that make a real difference. We’re incredibly proud to contribute to their missions and look forward to continuing our support for these impactful community initiatives!”
