Our 2024 sports day… but with a twist!

Despite the unpredictable weather, our annual Kreston Reeves sports day, organised by our ‘Good health and wellbeing’ team, ‘crystalised’ in June 2024, and the sun was shining!

Last year saw the return of our in person sports day which aims to get everyone in our firm together for some team building and friendly competition.

This year, we met at Sevenoaks Rugby club for a ‘crystal maze’ themed sports day, designed to test our speed, mental acuity and teamworking skills. With 16 teams comprised of 125 of our people, the festivities began with a dance off, which has very quickly become part of our sports day tradition! There were some impressive performances, but we must give a special mention to Kimberley Foulkes who once again brought her dancing A-game.

The activities ranged from mental arithmetic puzzles to tandem stilt walking and required everyone in each team to work together with the aim of gathering crystals for winning. It was important to make this event as inclusive as possible so team members could decide whether to support their team or take part in the challenges.

As always, it was a fantastic opportunity for everyone in the firm to get together. The competition finished with each team taking their turn inside the inflatable crystal maze to gather the most golden tickets.
