Further information
Alex arrived in Kent for her degree at the University of Kent at Canterbury and has stayed ever since. Joining the firm in 1995, Alex started her training contract in the Canterbury office before moving to work in Sittingbourne; the office merged with others to form the new Chatham Maritime office in 2000. Since that date Alex has worked in the Accounts and Outsourcing sector advising on a wide variety of accounting and tax strategies for owner-managed business as well as ensuring that clients meet their annual compliance requirements. The clients range from small sole trade businesses to large groups of companies, each with their own unique needs.
Personal interests
As church treasurer, Alex has a different perspective on day to day finances as well as fund-raising for special projects and, of course, preparing the accounts. It does allow her to see things from a client’s point of view and give something back by being involved in the charity sector.
In her spare time Alex enjoys watching other people playing tennis, skiing and researching the family history. The garden is also a work in progress.
