Further information
Dan joined Kreston Reeves from school and now forms part of the specialist charity and not-for-profit team, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2021. Dan spends the majority of his time working with a range of charities and not-for-profit entities. He has a passion for charities as he enjoys working with entities that are giving something valuable back to the community and where he feels he can add value.
To further Dan’s knowledge, and to enable him to understand the role and challenges of a Trustee, he is a Trustee of the national charity, Ramblers. He is also a member of their Finance and Risk Committee. Dan enjoys being able to take the lessons he learns from his own Trusteeship and apply them to his clients.
Dan has a keen interest in the environment and how he can help give something back to the community. This forms an integral part of his work at Kreston Reeves, as our Climate Action leader, and he forms part of our newly formed ESG leadership team. Dan has led Kreston Reeves to be a carbon neutral organisation as well as creating Kreston Reeves’ Impact Report. This highlights the key achievements within the firm, using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as a benchmark.
In recognition of the work that Dan has achieved he was placed at Number 10 in the 2022 Accountancy Age Top 35 Under 35 ranking. Dan was also awarded Kreston Reeves’ Student of the Year award in 2020.
